Aamna bonds with Aftab’s mom
Recently, Aftab Shivdasani’s mother played host to his girlfriend Aamna Shariff. The two have been going strong for almost a year now, since they started shooting for their upcoming film. And, they have been quiet about their relationship although everyone on the sets talks about it openly.
This was, “because Aftaab didn’t want another Yana Gupta episode in his life,” says a friend, who knew how serious Aftaab was about Yana and how much he wanted to make it work. So this time, Aftaab was biding his time, making sure where his relationship was headed before making it public. And, before that, he wanted to introduce his girlfriend to his mother. So, Mrs Shivdasani had Aamna over for lunch, with a lavish spread of home cooked food. The two ladies in Aftaab’s life bonded well, according to their friends and Aamna is said to be grinning from ear to ear since then.
