Hi Andrew Ahmed,
Thank you for your review 788. I firmly believe that there is no need for a Muslim woman to wear Jilbab in a modern society of today; may it be a Muslim society of an Islamic country or may it be a non-Muslim society of a non-Islamic country. With the passage of time Jilbab has lost its purpose. It is a pity that the mindset of some of our Ullamahs is stuck in the past, they keep beating the same old bush misleading people by preaching Jilbab as an essential part of the Islamic dress code today; this is not true. Apart from the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Jilbab is popular with Muslim women of the Arab countries and some parts of the Turkey.
Salaam.

Hi Seema Malik,
You described very beautifully indead the ‘Aim and Purpose’ of Jilbab to afford Muslim women a distinctive Muslim identity in a non-Muslim society. Does this mean that those Muslim women, who live in Muslim countries, do not need to wear Jilbab?
Salaam.

Hi Seema Malik,
Your article GB24 is an overwheleming news to many of us. We could not believe how liberal God could be to women folks and how contrary its teachings are to what we are constantly told by most of our illeterate ullamahs especially Dr Zakir Naik he is a pain.
Salaam.
