Aamna Shariff will be seen in a new TV serial with a look inspired
by that of Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dhoom 2’ TV actor Aamna Shariff
has finally turned down all prospective Balaji Telefilms offers
and has decided to play a lead protagonist in an upcoming Sony
show. Sources say that Aamna will dump her girl-next-door image
she dons in her ongoing serial ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ for a more
glamourised version of Aishwarya Rai’s look in ‘Dhoom2’ Apparently,
Aamna will soon be leaving for a long shoot in Ooty, where the
serial will take off. Neither the channel nor the production
house is willing to offer details about the new show. But sources
say March 19, 2007 is the tentative launch date of the show.
Sony’s chief creative director, Sandiip Sikcand, says, “It is
too premature to say anything on the new show. We have many
concepts in mind but haven’t finalised anything.”
